Today we went to the first Estonian lure coursing match show. It was the first time I had ever seen one. Erin had to run after a blue lure, that looked a bit like a cheerleading pom-pom, for 330 meters. The dogs were timed and some points were given for precision. Erin missed the last corner and lost the lure for a bit, you could see the befuddled face :D But she found it quite quickly again and all in all we came third in the maxi dog category. I was worried a bit that she would refuse to run after the lure but there was no need, she has a great prey-drive.
Erin was confirmed EST Champion on 08.05.2017 and Liisa had a chance to take a great picture of Erin and her grande rosette.
Erin can also be confirmed as LV, LT and BALT CH. It's on my todolist. She is one CACIB short of C.I.E. Working on that too. Erin was alone in the ring but the judge Calin Margineanu (Romania) for some reason (didn't show in the description) decided not to give her a CQ although Erin looked and performed really good.
Very disappointed, we decided to go for a walk in the forrest and Liisa took some amazing pictures of Erin at Vasalemma Castle. Erin was registered in intermediat class, sadly she was the only hovawart. Hovawarts are for some reason not very popular in Lithuania. But we did great - Ex1, CAC, CACIB, BOB and Erin is Crufts Qualified again. Erin has now 4xCACIB, after 1 year and 1 more CACIB can be confirmed as C.I.E We stayed in a beautiful cottage and Liisa had time to take some excellent pictures of Erin
